Now I just gotta figure out what to do to stop it. I presently own seven Mavericks and I just bought another one! That brings me to 5 71 Grabbers, a 72 Sprint, a 74 LDO, and another 74 2-door. What the heck can one person do with so many Mavericks? I need to check with Dennis and see if there might be a Mavaholics Anonymous.
Some of you may have seen it pop up on eBay. Well, it was only 100 miles from me so it got my interest real fast. The only thing I don't like about it is that it has a 250 in it...but that can be remedied real fast. Other than that, it looks like a real nice car. I talked to the owner about 30 minutes on the phone (the whole time my wife was just shaking her head). It's not what I consider show car status but it would make a great daily driver like it is. Who knows, if I decide to keep it, might just turn into something great down the road.
I really figured the guy was going to try to get 5 or 6 grand out of it with his reserve. He didn't have a BIN on the auction at first but added it with one day left. I knew it was going to sell today when I saw the BIN price to somebody so I figured it might as well be me. Hell...I can go pick it up in a couple of hours if I want but will probably wait till next weekend. I'm still working on my other blue one right now. I'm putting my interior back in that one now.
Anyway, if anyone wants to check it out, here it is:

    Thanks
As for neighbors...one thing that Katrina did for me was cleaned out my neighborhood. I don't have any neighbors anymore. My house was the only one left standing for several blocks...everything else has been bulldozed. They will eventually build back but it looks like will be a while. Nobody is even starting yet.

Very nice car Ray. I don't think you have a problem. If you liked to collect Hemi Cudas you could have a problem............ With $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!! Get them now while the getting is good.

    I was watching that one.

    Look at it this way:

    1. You are now one car closer to owning ALL the 1971 Grabbers ever made.

    2. You kept one more Maverick from going to Georgia.

If I keep it up, I'll have as many Mavericks in my yard as ALL those Ga guys all together! :bananaman
