My truck was hit and is currently in the body shop -- So, i some how talked my way into driving a 2013 Camaro and I am in LOVE with these seats. They're tall, comfortable, power seats and look sleek -- I would guess they would fit nicely in a maverick. Thoughts? Only downer is to buy a set is like 800-1200$ for a pair.
have you priced...Grabber buckets and having them covered...could be close to same price and not near as comfy...
Explorer bucket seats from the late 90s feel pretty nice, and could be reupholstered to look perhaps a bit like 73-74 Mav seats ... at least the back, the seat bottom is still more modern. Explorers are super-common in the junkyards right now, too.
71-72 Maverick buckets, or 69-73 Mustang buckets, can be re done with new foam, and material to look more modern with kits from TMI http://www.tmiproducts.com/mustang/browse-by-category/sport-seats/sport-r-seats.html
Frank, I was questioning the price too. I am guessing that is the two bucket seat skins (and foam?). I did a quick search under 1971 Mustang Coupe, because that is a somewhat close match for our cars, but the rear skin needs some minor mods. The price for that came to $699 and I am guessing that is the full set including the back seat skin, too. I am truly hoping that includes foam, too. I bought a set of TMI 71 Mustang Coupe Standard skins for mine and without foam it was in the $240 ballpark.
