Just finished up this Boss 302 clone last week, that I started in October of last year. Original VIN-stamped block with 347 rotating assembly, NOS '70 Boss 302 heads, NOS valve covers, original Boss intake and air cleaner, TKO600 5-speed, 4.30 N-case with 31-spline NASCAR locker.

Back where it came from, California. It was sold new in LA and still wears its original tags and dealer license frames. It was a 65,000 mile unrestored original paint (same color) 302 C4 sportsroof to start with. Only non-original sheet metal is the back bumper.

The owner is a former Iowan and good friend. I built him a '69 GT500 clone and a Thunderbolt replica with a stroked Tunnel Port. He also is the current owner of my blue Maverick.

Thanks, Everett. I sold my Maverick last fall, and just have my '69 Fairlane. Working on a V8 conversion on Dad's red '71 Maverick right now, so we are still in the Maverick/ (Comet) family. :thumbs2:
