I seen a set of seats on Ebay and in the describtion the seller said that the 1970 floor panels were different than the rest of the years. I have a 69.5 and I was going to put some bucket seats in from a later model maverick in the car. Am I going to have a problem with them fitting? Has anyone heard this before?

    Thanks
    David

The floorboards on your ca and all 1970 Mavs were not made for factroy bucket seats. There is no allocation in the floorboard for the inner holes (no raised part).

Anyways...you can make buckets fit...just takes some work and trial and error.

Thanks Craig. This makes sense since buckets were available until later. I always just assumed that the floor pans were the same.

Have you are anyone else added buckets to a 1970 Maverick?
Any Advice on how to do it?

Hey I like to find out also. I have bucketseats from another maverick and I was going to put them in a 1970 mav.
