i got new shocks for the front of the mav. But i had to push very very hard down on the top of the shocks just to get the bolts in just didint feel right?
With the shocks bolted on it raised the front end up three inches, something just not right. i think they sold the wrong shocks
What brand shocks did you get? You may have Gas Shocks, which are filled with low pressure Nitrogen and have to be compressed in order to install the 2 upper mounting bolts...........but should not raise the front end of the car 3" as you mentioned. David
IF they have enough pressure to raise the front three inches, you'd have never been able to compress them enough to install...
What brand model # shocks u have? I agree w/ the post B4 me - - not being able to compress enough to install.
Springs are what holds the weight of the car...shocks removed or installed won't change the height enough to notice.
