That 2010 Fall Carlisle auction 71 Grabber went for $16,000. It was a nice original car (14,000 miles) that was not perfect but looked in better shape, except the paint, than what the $26,500 Grabber went for. I need to get off my butt and finish my 73 so I can sell Spookie and retire.

It amazes me that so many of you guys under-rate our cars that much! The fact that they have been cheap for years doesn't mean they'll stay cheap forever. I think it's about time our cars get the respect they long deserved.

No, no,no, they can't go up in value until I get the '72 Comrick done.:hmmm:

Yes, another Comrick. My Grandson picked up a Mav hood and grill. I want to put a Comet GT scoop on the Mav hood. He's thinking about it.

Yo! Im playing catch up today after a few days at the Hospital with my wife. I take offense to that statement. Ive collected antique trains way longer than cars and my collection is valued at 10 plus times what my car is. If you are a true train collector you go to many a show just to find that one piece in good enough shape to add to your collection. Lets pick on coin collectors next time LOL ...

Amazing how people really don't read these threads and they get so off topic no one here thinks Mavericks/Comets are cheap or should be, but just the fact that this one car someone overpaid buy thousands of dollars and it would never happen in the normal markets available to sell a Maverick is all that needs to be expressed here!
