Got a great deal on a 4 link set up. Anyone running one or have any suggestions? It's a universal kit..

I run one but no experience installing one. I do have experience tuning them with amazing results I might ad.

What kind d of 4 link or do you mean 4 bar?
I plan to run a triangulated 4 since 3 link performance didn't justify the extra 1k..

There have been several 4-link builds documented on the board. One owner chose to point the upper bars backwards (even though everyone told him this would not work, it DID!) since most other builds eat into the rear seat area in order to get a long enough upper bar to be useful. I'm sure there's a couple of threads on it.

I'd love to read about the backwards facing upper bar. Do you have a link to that thread?

The backwards facing upper bar setup is on a car that belongs to the Hahn brothers of Somerset, KY. I don't think they've ever done a comprehensive explanation of it. I do believe they modified a prebuilt kit and if I recall correctly provided their modifications back to the company. Tony told me that he used a piece of exhaust tubing to mock up the rear and and check travel and ended up with something like six inches without binding which was more than enough. Someone may be able to scrounge up a photo from one of our many Gatherings the Hahns attended/hosted.

I have a 4 link mounted in mine with a home built cross member - it does eat into the rear seat floor but I was able to modify the lower seat frame and keep it all under the springs of the seat and encase the area in steel to protect a rear passenger in case of something going south - I had photos in my gallery but haven't looked since we switched to the new form if they are still there
