I need to find a 28 spline axle, 30" to the back side of the wheel flange, with the large wheel bearing on it. It is for my 74 Maverick ice racing car. The ford 9" in the car apparently came from a 1964 station wagon, but I am not sure about this.

you can normally find axles from a locale driveshaft or differential shop..

if they dont have one around they can normally have someone custom make one for about 100-150 bucks

I race in Marian weekly and also area specials. The car has won 11 features in 6 years. I found a bearing that will allow me to use the smaller bearing axles in the large bearing housing.
