I'm new to this group and happy to be here. I am 45, feel like I'm 30, and needing to get back to my roots. Ford roots that is. Had a 71 maverick that looked like it ran 12s, but had the trusty 200 straight 6. Later had a 351c stuffed in a 79 fox body. Now I have 3 daughters. Hmmm. I need a good 71 Maverick body. P.s. I'm in Louisiana.

Thanks for the heads up on the comet. I am scared of the rust. My goal is 460 street machine. I should get a roller, but to keep interest up, I am getting something road worthy. I really appreciate your help. Your my first maverick friend.
