I am going to show you a picture of before the chrome fender well trim and after. Tell me which you prefer? I am still on the fence about it as to wheter or not I like it. On the plus side, it covers some of the patch panel overlaps and some of the bondo marks. On the negetive side, at least to me it takes away from the done by me racing stripe lol. So just let me know (y) or

With the stripes, I vote for no trim.

I am kind of leaning towards no trim myself, at least until I see it at night time with the light reflecting off from the chrome trim. That's when I am conflicted. :hmmm:

And thanks for the compliments. I think that it does look a million times better than the pee yellow and rust that it was 2 months ago.

I don't know... Normally I would say no trim. I wouldn't put it on mine. But on yours, for some reason I like it.

To those of you who have said that I could paint your car, you havent seen mine close up so......... lol. Honestly though, I can paint ok, but for me it was just a matter of learning the paint/air pressure settings. Once I got those down the paint went on good and things went well. Part of the reason though that mine did come out better than the average Joe's back yard paint job is because I do know how to mask. Doing drywall and house painting I have learned most of the art of masking so that was a big help. As far as the trim goes, I am like facelessnumber in that I am not a huge fan of trim on a "race look" car, but I had to try it because of the fender well issues that I spoke of earlier. It actually sort of works on this car I think lol. Keep the opinions coming though, I like seeing other peoples opinion.

Well, I think that I am going to stick with the trimmed fender well look. It has grown on me and like I have stated before, it helps hid some of the fender repairs that have been done in the past. I fixed what I could while I was doing the body work, but trying to patch up the inside edge of a fender well on a budget is not easy, nor does it last so the trim works. Maybe one of these days I will be able to find a good donor car to get some good fenders off from, but for now this what I have to work with. Now its on to getting the engine running a bit better and some duel exhaust.
