using 3.80 behind my 200ci six. seems a little too high in the first two gears, but makes up for higher speeds on the german highways. so i'd suggest 3.50, too!
Depending on power and torque that you have will make a difference on how the gears will react. I had 3.73 in my mustang and found that it was a great combo. I had roughly 420 horse power.
I'm going 3.73:1 with my T5, I have 3:55.1 in my green car with the AOD, and I wish they were a little steeper.
I have 3.89's in my 55 with the T5 and its too steep(for me). First gear is almost not needed, but it does get off the line real fast(for me)
I got 4.11's in mine and I go thru 1st gear very quickly. Altough it is very easy though when driving on the highway im about 2500 at 72-74 mph. When I do roll races it feels like first gear is just gonna snap too next ill be going with 3.50 with my 351w setup im building
