brahe light switch

    does anyone have a picture of how the brake switch mounts. i changed to master cyclinder and i forgot to take a pic. before i removed it.i have the master and the rod is over the pin on the brake. do i have to remove it to mount the switch?:huh:

    You dont have to remove the rod from the pin . the switch slips over it on the slotted side and the side with the hole goes over the pin and then the clip Good luck its tight but you can do it

    thank you, i didn't take a good look when i took it out before the winter. the weather and my leg kept me from putting it back. again thank you.

    i know it is kinda like 20-20 hindsight but... i found that when i change out the master i don't even take the rod off the brake pedal lever. after disconnecting the brake lines from the master, and after removine the nuts that hold it to the firewall, i just give a strong YANK on the master and out she comes... rod stays in the car. new master is installed in reverse order.:2cents:

    it is a pain in the butt to get yuor hands up in there....and that little clip thing likes to fly away alot....
