    Hello all, here's my situation.
    Car is a 70 Maverick, 302 with c4 tranny.
Problem is brake lights nor indicators nor hazards are lighting up. When I dip the indicator switch, the green arrows light up SOLID on the cluster. They do not "blink". When I press the HAZARD switch, I can here the "tick" from the flasher but nothing from the bulbs.
Any ideas of what could be going on? Thanks!

Sounds like hazard flasher needs replacing...

The hazard flasher is brand new, and bulbs are brand new

    1) When you dip the indicator, and the arrow goes solid, do the brake lights illuminate ON solid also?

2).With the hazard switch ON and ticking, do the front turn signals blink?

No, the brake lights do nothing. Also no the front indicators.
New bulbs all the way around.
Although the arrow lights up, the TURN SIGNAL flasher does not tick. Both flasher units are new. I even swapped them around just to make sure one wasn't defective. Both work in the hazard light plug.

Sounds like a turn signal switch assembly problem to me. T/S and brake lights run through it. That's the common factor between what I'm hearing from you.

Unless both the front and rear light grounds are bad at the same time.

So many times the root of mysterious signals and brake light malfunctions lies in the turn signal switch. Many of these cars are knocking on 50 years old and that switch is one of the most often used electrical item on a car. The contacts are probably shot and causing issues. Could also be in the harness running through the column. It's really a complex little turd that can wreak havock on our minds!

First off, I appreciate yalls quick responses.
And I had done some searching before posting and had read that the turn switch could be the culprit. So I took the turn switch from parts car (also a 70) and it acted in the exact same way. Could I have just gotten rotten luck with both switches? Thanks again

    All fuses good?

At the T/S harness connector, body side, jump YELLOW to GREEN w/ ORANGE STRIPE. Use a fused jumper, 10A is fine. Brake lamps should illuminate.

Check for 12V on YELLOW at T/S harness connector. If not OK, find open in YELLOW circuit. If OK, check for 12V on GREEN w/ ORANGE at tail lamp with 10A jumper installed.

Frank, I have a feeling that is going to be his problem with the YELLOW circuit... it is fed from the headlight switch.

Ok, so my yellow has power.
I took a test light directly to the socket, and grounded it off... test light blinks! So friend issue? But on the wire diagrams they show both wires to the light going back to the front of the car. So where is my ground location for these rear lights?
