    I plugged the bumperette holes with a smaller bumper bolt, may have to file the square part of the head a little but did not have to it on the bumper I did . Cant hurt to put some sealant around the hole and on the inside on the washer that goes on the bumper bolts

    I used bumper bolts also put sealant on the washers too.

    That is what I kind of figured, but I scraped off some rubber gasket, looked like a grommet, so I was not quite sure if I need anything more. Thanks for the input :)

    Yep....just a bead or squirt of some sealant.

    I always have a box of this 3m sealer around - it is perfect for most of the little jobs while repairing and restoring old cars.
