When i went to reconnect my battery yesterday i get a loud clicking noise that seems to be the starter. I have tried 3 different solenoids with the same results. Could it be my ignition switch is bad. I disconnected the starter and ignition wire from the solenoid and still get the clicking. Also I'm not a 100% the noise is coming from the starter any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Matt

Sounds like a dead battery problem

Battery has a full charge. It was on my trickle charger that's why it was disconnected.

If it's one big click it's the starter or cable. If it's continuous clicking it's low voltage to the solenoid. Check cables for good clean contacts.
