Good day all, was talking with Mustang Steve about a pedal assembly for the Maverick and he said he has sold many lately but doesn't know how they are being installed in a Maverick since there doesn't seem to be cowl clearance for the quadrant. If anyone can answer that question he would like to help us out with a bolt in pedal assembly.
Is it easier to use a hydraulic set up vs cable, possibly a push master with a pin welded to the clutch pedal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What are you trying to do? Convert from auto to manual??? Do you currently have a OEM manual set up and looking at converting from mechanical Z-Bar/linkage to hydraulic or cable?? A few members, including myself have converted over to Modern Drive Line hydraulic set up. perhaps if you could tell more of what you are looking to do.

Give Bruce a call at https://www.moderndriveline.com/ he can help you with converting over to T5 for our Mav/Comet, will give you whole bunch of options etc......
First of all, what year Mav/Comet do you have? Regarding changing over from your auto to manual clutch pedals, if you look at where your current auto pedal set up on your pedal support bracket, is it secured by a "red clip" or nut on RH side of support bracket? If it is secured with clip, then changing over pedals is easy, if you have "nut" securing pedal shaft, then you will have to change out your pedal support bracket.........
