    Politions, Lawyers,and Auto body paint shops.........................Cant trust any of them.

    Well after over 3 months all that was done on my car was 2 small holes on shock tower welded up. Then this guy tells me Monday he really isn't going to have time to do my car to many insurance jobs. WOW waste of time !!!!
    Guess I am going to try my hand at painting !!!!!!!

    Well hopefully he hasnt taken any parts off yet thats when it gets interesting trying to locate them and get them back. Sorry to hear that it ended up that way at least he didnt keep you in jail for years

    I swear most of these body guys are the biggest bullshitters around. I ended up doing mine myself because either the price was extremely high or the quality was crap.

    No offense but I'd recommend somebody else doing it, maybe you can pay your buddy to do it on the side. It's a ton of work to do it right. Do you want to restore it or will you be happy with it not being perfect.

    I was quoted by a very reputable one man custom shop, for a Maverick with a really nice rust free body with no noticeable dings $4, 600.00 with me helping to remove and re install the fenders and doors.

    Yeah that's what I have experienced in doing other coatings.
