It should work. He mentions that it is only for drum brake cars, not factory disc equipped cars. Maverick drum spindles are the same as '70 Mustang drum spindles. I wonder what hubs and rotors he's using and how easy it would be to get replacement parts when needed.?

Used this exact kit a few months back, real easy install. Still working under the hood though. M/S, prop valve install etc.

He basically uses the same Toyota 10" disc set up that Scarebird uses in his kit. Hubs are OEM Ford unit, same as what came with our Front Brake Drum/Hubs. So replacement pads/rotors are readily available, hubs will pretty well outlast the car, wheel bearings readily available too........
I actually talked to him a couple of years ago about whether or not he would just sell the Hubs, told me just to reuse
the ones that originally came on my 73 Comet with 5 lug front brake drum/hub.

? The front hubs and rotors on our cars are one piece.
Unless you mean the steering knuckle/spindle.

MGChevyFordparts and Scarebird use the Hubs from our Mav/Comets Front Brake Drums (which are pressed in) and then uses the Toyota 10" rotors, thus 2 piece design, separate Hub and Rotor.

pictures below are Hub from our Mav/Comet Front Brake Drum/Hub, that I pressed out and OEM 11" rotor where I machined out the "Hub" so I now have 2 piece separate Hub and Rotor design............

Ahh, ok I see now, thanks. So the Toyota shares the same lug bolt spacing as Ford?

Yes, same 5 on 114.3mm (4 1/2"), think the rotors are 10" from Prius, Corolla.........I'm sure MGChevy/Scarebird could have used larger rotors, but both where designed to fit within stock 14" rims.
Kits are available where OEM Mustang II front 9 1/2" rotor, 4 lugs are converted to 11" rotor, 5 lugs in both one piece Rotor/Hub and separate 2 piece Rotor and Hub design. The Hubs are those kits are exactly the same as on our Mav/Comets.
