I like those better than the ones I installed. Iv had these a few years and just got them installed. I'd bet those Shelby lights took some work.

The light install itself was a lot of work (would have been easy on a Coment due to the flat tail light panel) but the sequential flashers (WEBELECTRIC STS-1), the reason I posted here, were easy...

The Easy Performance turn signals have a seven different sequencing programs. The Shelby tail lights would put a lot more light in front of a distracted driver though. :)

    GreaseMonkey,
Yours looks like the same as what I did a few years ago before there was nothing on the market. They have been working fine for me and are still a huge improvement over stock.

I hope they last awhile. I also think their better than stock.

That's cool. My back-up lights are similar, but mounted in the bumper. They're not noticeable when not on, so people assume I have no back-up lights (LOL!). When I took that video a few years ago, I didn't think to include the back-up lights. I'll have to do that sometime..

Did you modify the back of a maverick taillight to fit the bobcat taillight? Looks like you also used a maverick lens in the inner part as well?

the inside lens of the Bobcat tail lights are just a reflector. I took a left maverick lens and put it in the right Bobcat light and right one in the left one. then cut the red part of a lens and put it where the backup lens was.
these are simple mods on the Bobcat lights that have the stamped frames like the maverick ones.
the lens just bolt right in like the mavericks do. the lights with the chromed pot metal frames, I couldn't get things to go at all.

Well, after a couple of years of trying, I finally found a pair or these tail lights. There is still another pair available from the seller too. He's asking $299 but make a reasonable offer, I did and he accepted mine.

Great feedback Frank. I did notice that in the picture that the one side is not illuminated which is a little odd. I personally think these lights look great on Mavericks. I love the original look too, but it always felt like there was a little too much space between them. This has more of the Shelby Cobra affect (and those look great), but without major surgery and cost. I also think it looks more true to the Maverick design.

I am still very interested in finding an original Grabber rear spoiler for a 77 lid, not sure if that even matters. If anyone knows of one for sale, please contact me at 813-220-5601. Thanks!
