    Thanks krazy!!

My english is bad  What I meant to say was that if I make that gearbox change later, i´ll have to pull out the engine. Not for the paintjob. Paintjob is easily done w/ engine on. It is just so timeconsuming job to sand all that color and sh*t off, I dont think Ill manage to do both at one winter.
When I started to take parts out from enginebay, I couldnt remove gearbox before engine. There is just not enough space.

BTW, I ordered that 2.nd gear servo earlier from Summit racing. It arrived to me and instantly I noticed that it has some ”ding” in it. Propably came when transported. Anyway, I filed a complain and Summit gave back my money.
Question is, that can I or should I use it?I will add couple of photos, this goddamn iPad wont let me do as I want to....:grumpy:

Couple of photos. My opinion is that I can use it, because the seals are ok. What do you think? IMG_20190404_203012.jpg IMG_20190404_203300.jpg

    Happy easter everyone!
I just got my enginebay painted. Im not really pleased with it because it was supposed to be a satin black/semigloss. Well, its too shiny. And with some orange peel too. It was my first air gun painting and obviously there is some learning to have.
These pictures are from round one and everything was pretty ok. After second round, something was different. Air/paint ratio I guess.
I need to sleep couple nights and think that should I do it one more time to make it right. That means sanding, cleaning, prepping and painting.

    Moving on, slowly.

Got my enginebay wirings back and beginning to put them in. They look good and hopefully they are now safe. Before they were a little....risky.

I also got my headers sandblasted and today I covered them with ceramic coating. Time will show is it good or not. The colour is satin black but in my eyes it tends to bend pretty much in brown.

Transmission (C4) is now at the specialist. He will put in master kit, shift kit and that billet servo. Thanks guys for all your help and comments on that one!!

If everything goes well, I just might get it running at this fall. Maybe even driving.

I also ordered a new wheels for it: 17x8 in rear and 17x7 in front. They are now at somewhere in the middle of ocean, coming to Finland.

I'm kinda partial to those wheels myself.

No, they're 7" x 14" and I've had them on either a Maverick or a Ranger mini truck since I bought them 46 years ago. Here is what's going on my Maverick after some floor pan "surgery" for the rear wheels.

Those are 7" x 15" & 14" x 15". My brother-in-law CNC machined billet caps to look like the old style American Racing centers and I put steer head center decals from another member here, Craig Selvey.
