ok I know its not real big but is the 73 glove box liner the same as the 74 and up Liner without A/C? need a liner but no one list a 73 liner or is this just another part that only my car has needed or has?
Nobody list a Glove box liner for a 1973 because the MAverick in 1973 was listed to still have a package tray and NOT a glove box. We all know that the early year Mavericks were package tray cars and the later in 1973 you got the more of the cars had glove boxes, depending on which assembly plant the car came out of decided how late in 73 you could go and still get the package tray or how early they plant ran out and started using Glove Boxes
I will answer a question with a question .... Does your 73 already have the lower dash with the glove box built in? Many 73 cars came with the earlier tray under the dash like the 70 -72 cars. That means the upper dash (metal part) has rounded corners. If your car has the lower dash addition with the glove box, the upper dash will have square corners to meet the lower dash. I had a glove box addition installed in my 72 with the early dash for a while but it never looked right. I happen to have the entire lower dash with glove box out of a 73. Nice shape. Black. For sale. The post is about the glove box liner, basic cardboard box that goes inside. It has that too.
