    Background:

C4 Reverse Manual Valve Body with Transbrake
    Fluid level topped off
Bands adjusted to - 3/4 turn
    Hurst Quarter Stick
Linkage okay (moves shift lever on tranny through each gear)
Note: Transbrake did not hold last time out at track.

Problem: Tranny stays engaged in HIGH gear no matter what position lever is in (P, N, 1, or 2).

    Any thoughts?

    Thx

    False alarm.

The pawl was loose and was rotating around the actual shaft.

Having a second person and good lighting early on would've saved me some grief.

    Thanks anyway, T. L.

Sounds kinda like having the turn signal lever in the down position and spending an hour to find out why the emergeny flashers don't work on the driver's side.
