Glad to see you are up and running again.. Good luck with your new project!!!
i replaced the bench seat with mitsubishi eclipse buckets.
What year eclipse seats did you use? They look Great.
Good luck, She looks nice.
Jason, looking back to the bad luck, I knew you would bounce back. I hope your daughter is thrilled again. Looks like a great starting point, keep us posted.
Cool! That car looks straight.
Looks like you will have another sharp car.
So you got the title squared away, finally? What did you finally do? I have one I am having trouble getting a title for myself.
What color are you leaning towards on the repaint?
Wow, that's a straight looking body there.
Btw, you like those green Fords, don't you?
jim, go to broadway title. they fixed everything and it was very reasonable. under $150 to get the title issue fixed. very good company to work with. they are hard to reach on the phone but very professional in the work. i recommend them
yea ratio, i kinda have a thing for green (since i can't ever seem to make enough of it)
the seats are form a 93 eclipse i believe. we stopped at a pull it yard after the spring speedway show in daytona. they were closing in 30 minutes so my wife and i were running thru the yard pulling my parts wagon and tools. i started in the ford yard and she hit the imports. she actually found these. VERY comfortable and supportive. and did i mention cheap. we found 2 identical set (pulled all 4 seats) and got out the gate for $18.00 per bucket including tracks. walked out as they were pulling the gate closed. laughed all the way home. I LOVE my wife!
I am leaning toward the new dupont hot wheels/spectraflame color anti-freeze green. maybe a silver interior. this car has no air so black might be a little hot. what do you think?
i can't tell you what hottie is considering. just know it will be hot.
thanks for the compliments. it is very encourageing. i am in school full time and trying to work too so progress is slow but it is moving. sometimes it is sad to look at the hood and remember the car it came off of but the parts put 3 other cars back together not counting this one. she lives on!

I took liberties with your car...
looks real nice i'd pimp it around
I wouldn't like it to be a solid color like that, but a candy would be sweet, it looks good in that pic Ratio.
These paints are a pretty good attempt at replicating the finishes on the very first Hot Wheels cars, which was candy lacquer over polished metal (very impractical to do to a full-size car). This paint looks good in person and you need to see them on a curved surface in sunlight to get the full effect.
Antifreeze was the very first Hot Wheels color released in 1968. Unfortunately it was on a Camaro, the first casting.
Seeing it Photoshopped onto your car, I am liking AF more and more.
(with all this info, can y'all tell that I have several hundred teeny tiny cars here? ... I collect HWs cars from the first four years ... they look more like art than toys when perfect.)
Man, how do you do that?!! I can't come up with anything close to realistic when I try to do that!
Glad to see you got it going! Love that 4P-Medium Green Metallic. For some reason it seems familar. I'm sticking with it when I get mine repainted one day.
There's a 74 for sale by me that is close to that Antifreeze green with blacked out bumpers and trim. It's bright and you can't hide form the cops
good looking car! i wish you the best of luck with it!!!
