Hey great to meet everyone and I'm excited to be a part of the community. Working on my first build of a 71 Maverick Inline 200 that was my grandfathers he purchased new in AZ and been there most of its babied life.

First tackling the updates needed in Brakes and Suspension. Have a built 302 that will also be going into the car once Suspension/Brakes/5 Lug/Steering/Rearend are updated.

I have a complete 71 Mustang donor car with brand new front suspension and I'm wondering what if anything I can swap without too much fab work in the Maverick. Appreciate any advice or pointing in the right direction.

    Thanks,

    Brian

Cool, an Arizona Maverick! We like pictures around here! Welcome to the site from middle Indiana (Lafayette). I don't know the answer to your question about the donor Mustang parts but I'm sure one of the wizards who do will answer you soon.

    Welcome:Welcome:

Except for steering box & drag link, most of the front suspension should interchange. Steering boxes are same as '68-'71 Fairlane/Torino and the Granadas. Drag link unique to Maverick. Three different ones, the '75-'77 version easiest to find the matching idler arm(what's on my Comet).
