My horn is dead. I’ve verified everything else in the system works. Can’t even get the horn to work junketing it to the battery. Is there a source for a factory horn? I looked around and all I could find were generic replacements and sets of horns for other fords. I think mine is an aftermarket replacement but I don’t know for sure. Anyone have a horn for sale?

Not Ford, Delco is genuine GM.

He's right. That's not the original horn for your car anyway.

Mostly a horn is a horn(though there are high & low notes). Single setups usually have a high note. Get one or a pair from a late model in junk yard.

Originally the Comet only had a Lo horn mounted under the hood next to the wiper wash tank. I added a Hi horn using a C7ZZ-13832-H and moved them to the grill side of the radiator support. The bracket looked like the factory Lo version and it sounds less anemic now.

I agree "A horn is a horn"! I add a 2nd. horn installed behind valance, put horns on a relay. Sounds like a normal car now.
Add a horn and move on...

I decided to go with a 71-73 Mustang right side horn.
