    Sounds much like our story

I bought my 1970 Maverick in 1978 when I was 15, I still have it. We got my sons 1970 Maverick in 2011 when he was 15.

Am I the only one who found this really funny?

As far as mine goes, it's probably the only one with 1994 Ford Windstar minivan front seats! But seriously, once it's rebuilt it will have the classic inlines aluminum head on my 250, a custom taller grabber spoiler, and some other goodies.

    Same here.

..but I can say that mine is the only one in that shade of yellow, I mixed toners together until it felt right....oh...and Dodge Stratus seat tracks.

You are not the only one, I got a chuckle out it! As far as mine, nothing unique about it. Although I do enjoy everybody else’s uniqueness!

My old timer friend who worked for Ford back in the day said they made a prototype 71 BOSS 302 Maverick. 4-speed 9" rear 3.91 gears and all the goodies. But it was faster than the upcoming BOSS 351 Mustang so away it went. Ford might have moved the BOSS 302 to that body if they had continued in SCCA. The Mustang BOSS 302 prototype was too heavy.

If the Maverick had ever gotten a BOSS 351 it would have been the fastest small block muscle car of the era. And all of us would have gotten wider shock towers......

OOps. And my 72 Grabber has a T-5 5-speed and 9" rear with Detroit locker. Might be a little unique. Or at least rare. :) Oh. The hydraulic clutch is rare :)
