Now that I have the exhaust welded, brakes bled better and the front end aligned I plan to drive it every chance I get.

Mine runs just fine but I am tired of tempting fate with those POS drum brakes, So I don't drive it much till I get the disks on.

And it's summer in Central Cali and that means 100-112 degree days with no A/C. Oh why oh why did i take the A/C out......... Oh yeah. Drag racing 10 years ago. Gotta put new A/C in :)

Just drove the 1976 4-door 443 miles today going to and coming home from the Ohio Mini-Meet. Got to love air conditioning and cruise control. :D

You should look into making a swamp cooler. I hear they work well in drier weather. Just a thought.

Drive mine when I can. Taking care of my Dad and sister takes all my time. Hope to get it out later in the summer.

Thanks :) I have seen those swamp coolers on those little cars. Can't remember what they call them. They are electric.

My Grabber was an A/C car from the factory so am looking into putting modern A/C into it. I think I can use my under dash stuff that's already there.

For my turbo Pinto however there is no hope :( The condenser wold need to be where the intercooler now sits. And that one was factory A/C too.

But hey. My 07 Ranger has A/C that is freakin cold so I just drive that when it's hot :) ;)

It varies. I'm only using the 76 Stallion although I have several more Mav's and 1 Comet. Sometimes I leave it at the company terminal in Grand Prairie TX as a "get home car" when my rig is being serviced. Then it sits on average 3 months at a time (great only having to fill the gas tank once every three months!). Then about every six months I switch it out with my 79 Thunderbird and then it gets driven back and forth to work every day. Luckily for me it's only 2.5 miles to where I park my rig and I can still go 2 months between fill up's.

why do you people even own the car if you don't drive it? sell it to someone else who will enjoy it.
