Could be bad starter ? Drawing a lot of voltage. Does it try to turn at all ?

Doesn't try to turn over at all. First just clicked a bunch of time. Now the starter just spins and won't engage.. I think I'm gonna replace the starter

Yeah another guy on here sent me the link. I thought it was too good to be true. I called and spoke with the company. They're manufactured in the US by arrowhead electric. Said that starter is popular. They sell a few thousand a month and only 3% return rate. Plus 1yr warrenty. For that price I had to give it a try

How long have you had it? The label on the starter say's "racing starter", how does it work in daily driver use?

Racing is probably nothing more than a advertising hype to make it more desirable... Kinda like Ford Racing HIGH FLOW 19Lb injectors... Those were in probably 90% of all engines built in '80s & '90s... A friend couldn't get past the fact they were HIGH FLOW, so had to be better than stock...

Anyway so far starter has been flawless, been on there around year & half...

Got my new starter. Not sure if it'll work. Says will fit 91 Lincoln mark VII 5.0, which is the engine I have. Also my starter just has the one cable. The new one has like a coil on the side with extra wires. Any thoughts?
