Woohoo! I put the car in its first show last Saturday night and won a 2nd place trophy!

Everyone loves the purple/orange combo ;)

Does anyone else put their cars in shows? I guess this money pit isn't so bad after all...

Have a great weekend everyone! Looking forward to the big car show/swap meet here in upstate NY this weekend...

Yes congrats! The only show I go to is the Round Up, other than that, I can't sit there all day and do nothing.

I did 17 shows last year and brought home 3 trophies. 3rd in class, best original interior and best original. Three more that expected but it does make it more fun. Nice job. :thumbs2::tiphat:

:clap:Congratulations - your car is beautiful - why wouldn't you win a trophy? I haven't entered mine as it's not presentable yet but our Trans Am has won a couple. If feels good to accept the award.

I enjoy showing at car shows. I've picked up leads on parts cars and whole cars from talking with other entrants. Not to mention learning a lot about cars in general. Have come away with a trophy and ribbon out of 5 tries. Beats the hell out of weedeating.
