    Hi,

my name is Oliver and I live in Germany. I have been looking for an affordable, cool, original, low mileage, American V8 coupe. A base ‘71-‘73 Maverick with 302 would be great - but, hey, why not a Grabber.
I’m in no hurry but if you know of such a car for sale I woul appreciate a hint.

    Greetings
    Oliver

Don't over-look the '74. It has big bumpers but those can be swapped for the small bumpers...

Is that bumper swap a big job? someone on here said they just tucked the front bumper back 2 inches by drilling out some holes? I'll have to get to a show and see how that is done.

I don't know what you would consider a "big job", but many people have done it.
In my opinion (which is the only opinion that matters LOL!!!), the '70-'73 bumpers look better on the 2-door models, while the big bumpers look more "at home" on the 4-door models.
The '74 was the last model before the catalytic converter and the raised floor section to accomodate it on the passenger side...

I don't have a welder so anything short of that would be manageable.
