What interior paint would i need to use on my car? I used Ace brand satin black but it just doesn't look right.
It seems to be too flat. I would rather use a spray can if i can find the right shade.

Your dash should have a "hint" of metallic.

The heater control bezel and the instrument cluster bezel have a hint of metallic as well.

I don't know if it was factory, but it looks pretty close. It is not a heavy metallic, if it is not in direct sunlight you would probably not be able to tell there is any metallic to it.

I used fabric and vinyl paint from OREILLY 6 years ago and it still looks perfect I used it on the metal dash and the door panels and the back seat. The only thing I did to prep was clean everything with orange soap to remove any grease.

I've also had good results from rustoleum satin black. Looks factory with a tiny shine. I used that paint on interior stuff, outside trim. Haven't used many produstc on my Mav, so all me experiences with paint and whatnot is on German steel.

Your dash is made of steel - you must be referring to the dash pad on top which is not :yup:
