I just spoke with Ken Ellis and he wanted everyone to know his surgery went very well today. He had a long awaited total knee replacement and will undergo the same operation on the other one in six months.

Good to hear that - they do amazing things with replacement parts these days - my boss had a hip replacement and was back to work in less than 6 weeks without a limp

It is interesting that nowadays, immediately after these kinds of surgery, they want you up and rehabilitating. No laying around for 6 weeks while you heal, like they used to do.

I guess getting up and moving things around actually helps it to heal faster and with better results.

the therapist came to the house the next day to set up a schedule for my rehab. I was out walking around the yard. she introduced herself and we walked up the steps and into the house. She was very surprised to find out I was who she came to see. two days later She came back and released me.
