Mercury Bearcat only seen one

    Has anybody seen the Mercury Bearcat, my uncle had one with side pipes, that was years ago, early 70s,I was 8 or 9yrs old, I loved the sound of those pipes!

    Dealer added package for 72. Side pipes, fog/driving lights. Bearcat script. slotted wheels with black centers D70x14 tires and wheels. I was not aware that the package was installed on 73 models but littlemissstang says she has a 73. Since it was dealer installed it would think they could put it on 73 models.

    I saw one in a Guys field. I tried to buy it but he was "going to restore it". that was 7-8 years ago, as far as I know it's still sitting.

    I bought wheels and side pipes from a guy who had a Stabber back in '76. Still got them after all these years.
