Mounting Grabber Hood Scoops

    I just ordered and installed a new grabber hood. I also order the vents/scoops. I’m sure these scoops must glue down? Is that correct? If it is can someone recommend what I should use to glue them down. Thank you.

    Scoops are held in with 3 special nuts. I'll dig up a picture for you.
    There is no gasket - just the nuts.

    Here it is - stamped acorn nut with a rubber grommet in it.

    yeah. There are three little studs to hold it in place but no threads on the studs.

    As long as the studs are there that is all that matters. They are not threaded like a screw - the nut bites into the stud and threads itself. Self thread cutting acorn nut.

    Or you could thread the studs with a die and install nuts on them. I wouldn't do it but it's a option.
