    Well,
It’s been awhile, I’m kinda getting sick of social media ( nothing to do with censorship, more to do with stupid people) anyways..just before I shipped my green Grabber of to Germany, I ended up buying a black 74 Grabber from Texas. It turned out to be a special order car, since black exterior paint was not a standard color in 74. Then after getting the Marti report, it showed it to be one of one, with special paint, black bucket seats, and a black halo top, 302 3-speed with A/C. Pretty much my dream Maverick. 5115788E-CE53-4581-9383-2D411D07FFD4.jpeg

Probably not, I’m trying not to paint this one, it’s mostly original paint.

Hi Dave - good to see you here again!

    Looking forward to the progress.
How does the roof look under the vinyl? Hopefully the Texas climate was kinder to it than the northern cars.

    Hi Eric,
The roof material was pretty much toast, but the metal was good, no holes just a few dents. I’ve stripped it and painted it, I have the new material, just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit.
