I need help with the shift cable in my 94 ford F-150 extend a cab.
I have been scouring the net looking for the shift cable for my pick up I want to get it going for the winter. I think this may be a OEM part but I was wondering if any of you know if there is an adjustment

Are you talking about the shift cable for an automatic on the column? I'm not sure you can buy these from the parts stores or not - but I replaced mine about 5 years ago or so on my '94. I got it from a salvage. Yes, it is adjustable but the procedure is easy and isn't as specific as a TV cable adjustment.

    Kutlas & Rando76,
Thanks for the responces, the wife went to Ford and picked one up... and my second oldest son has it almost done... he says it was a pain putting it in the steering column. Hopefully that takes care of the loose shifting problem. Phil
