I cannot figure out how to get the old cable off, to replace it. The front cable from the handle to the link is bad. How do you get it free from the handle? I must be missing something very obvious. Thanks

Think up some new cuss words and remove the clip on the firewall.
Another clip under the car is easier to get to and remove.

Don't you just push the button in (on the bottom), then push the handle all the way in, then remove the wheel?

the pulley had no clip on it, just the pin, and the cable was all wadded up between that and the firewall. Could not figure out how to get the cable to release from the handle. Found the other clips, though. Going back out to look at it again. Thanks for the pictures! Rhonda
