Hey guys how’s it going out there and Comet land just getting some parts togetherFor my headliner install and realize that probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to get new pinch weld trim I’ve been looking on the inter-web and it doesn’t seem like I can find the correct dimensional stuff maybe I’m just getting to Picky have any thoughts or connections.

I'm not sure which trim you are referring to. If it is the harder stuff running around the inside of the door opening, that is bonded to and part of the rubber door seal. You can buy all that new from Melvin's.

You're probably looking for "Roof rail weatherstrip" or "roofrail" (sometimes windlass). Melvins and Autokrafters has it.

TorpeteoAcornridgeman I really like your car kind a looks like A similar color to mine is that Gray gold? The trim I was talking about is The trim that finishes the headliner at the Pinch Welds

Thanks Torpeteo - I moved your post from the profile section to your thread here - hardly anyone reads those profile posts so it is best to reply in the regular forum threads.

1970 Ford called the color "Champagne Gold Metallic" code S - it is the original color the car was born with.
