I'm wanting to add more power to my brakes to make it a more pleasant daily driver. It's a 74 four door with a 250. Next major swap I want is an AOD, project for another day. Anyway, I bought a front disc conversation on eBay about 2 years ago, which helped out, but I'm still wanting less effort. What would be the best option for a booster or other ideas for brake advances?
    Thank you for any responses

If the car has power steering, some of the newer Mustangs come with a hydroboost brake booster. Pretty compact and is powered by a power steering pump. May need to upgrade from the stock pump, don't know for sure. The original power brake booster on these cars take up a lot of room.

I've thought about hydro, not really sure if it's what I want, a booster seems so much simpler. Not to mention I already have some power steering issues as it is. I didn't know if there was a booster off a different car that would fit

Not without mods, people have managed to squeeze the mini hot rod boosters in the space between firewall and shock tower.

The factory setup doesn't really fit like one would expect.

If looking at the stock Mav setup, another thing to be careful of is that in the later years. 76-77 I think, they moved the brake pedal to the left side of the steering column and pedals are different. It is an odd setup. No more stick shift cars at that point.

What are the mini hot rod boosters? The brand?

I think if you search the site here you may see some import car boosters that were adapted. I know I have seen that, but don't recall specifics, like brand.
