Hey guys, I finally got around to replacing the seal in my leaking power cylinder and the kit I bought doesn't kit in my cylinder. I bought the kit from Auto Krafters and it says it should fit but the parts in the kit are very different then the faulty seal. The new kit has 3 rubber washers, 2 pieces of metal and a retainer while my original has 1 piece of rubber, 1 piece of metal with a rubber insert, a metal washer and then the retainer. My cylinder doesn't have enough room to fit all of the new seal parts. Anyone have a similar experience replacing the seal? My cylinder is stamped with "remanufactured TP H10". Is it possible this is not an original cylinder? thanks guys Car 1976 Maverick with 250 straight 6, power steering, factory ac
The kit listed for '76 & '77 is same one I used for my '72... If your's has different parts must be a aftermarket design... Note there are two shaft seals, one is stacked on other with finger washer in between... https://www.carpartsdiscount.com/catalog/ford~maverick~76.html?3593=147765
