Here's a quickie video on my Maverick. As some of you know...I started this car years ago and then had to put it away for years...a few weeks ago I got it out of storage and it's home! Soon as I sell my little track day Camaro (on the cover of CAR CRAFT this month), it's game on for the Maverick. The goal at this point is to have it a runner this year.

By the way, the Hot Rod cover shoot didn't happen they ditched on me...hmm, magazine guys being flaky, imagine that! LOL
Thanks Ryan for selling me a very good grille and getting it to me so fast!

Sweet! As much as I am a "Ford in a Ford" guy, I appreciate all the work involved.
It kinda reinforces the idea, that Mavericks & Comets are a good base for a, shall we say "Street Rod" .......
Cool to have your car on the cover of "Car Craft" I just happened to have it here on the kitchen table.

Yeah, I know...I really wanted the Ford Triton V10 but found them too expensive to get 600+ HP and heavy and lacked good manual transmission options. This setup was just the best "bang for the buck" option at the time...Craig's list can be great...first one to call on an add that seemed too good to be true.
This build isn't meant to poke fingers in anyone's eyes...thanks for input and I hope at the end you'll appreciate the end result!

Love the V-10 Viper engine...Just dont much care for the sound they make at full song...Keep the fire burning!!!!

Sucks about the mag ditching out on the photoshoot.......... For Now. Im sure once its done it will be published in something. A car that unique is going to get some attention for sure, and they already know about it. Just bad timing I guess. It is going to be one sweet car when you are done with it. Make sure you bring it out to Az when the weather is nice and we start having meets again, when its done of course.
