Does anybody know a chemical that can clear out the rust in my gas tank? It's pretty bad, and the screen on my sending unit was destroyed and I can't find it anywhere. Should I just leave it off and let my fuel filters do the work or try and make one? I cleaned it with some sort of acid but it didn't work too well, there was literally an inch of rust in the bottom of it. Sprayed all that out with a water hose and cleaned it out with a shop vac and air hose, still rusty.

Idk anywhere to get a new tank, I don't wanna do the mustang swap so I might have to pay to have it re-done, ima avoid it if I can.
