I haven't been around for sometime as I've had a number of health issues. Because of the issues I decided to sell the Maverick to a really great Ford guy in New Zealand..............................the car is on its way as I type this. I've really enjoyed this forum, made new friends and hopefully helped in a small way to make this the best Maverick community on the internet. Just so you don't think I'm going to completely get out of cars, I just got a 2014 Mustang GT/6spd, Track Pac, Recaro Seats and Brembo brakes. Some people may say why didn't you buy a 2015, and since I'm "ole school" I just couldn't bring myself to get a Mustang with IRS.............besides, I'm not going to be racing........maybe.
Sorry to hear that. Don't be a stranger! I may be speaking out of turn here, but I don't think that ownership is a requirement here for posting.
John, it's been great conversing with you. Hopefully the new owner will add to the rich history of your MAV. Have fun with that Stang!
John it was great having you here and sharing all your knowledge with us and of course the build of the Maverick I hope the new owner will come on the forum and keep us updated with progress. Health is more important than any car and I only hope that yours improves. And I am with you on the 15 Mustangs newer is not always better
I hope you don't leave. You'll always be welcome here!! Good luck with your new path, and don't forget to post a few pics of your new GT...
I think it's safe to say that you are family here. Your recent absence hasn't gone without notice and I sure hope you decide to stick around. There is a lot of important knowledge in that brain of yours, many of us would appreciate it if you could drop a little on us from time to time. All the best to ya John.
I want to personally thank you for sharing your knowledge of these old hot rods of ours. Going to miss your input and help you have given to so many. I just can't believe you sold that car with those new door panels....IMHO.....I wish you good health....take care and stay in touch!
Good luck with the new ride John. I remember you were the first member I got a PM from after I joined here. Time fly's by quick. Mark
Enjoy your car John, lets face it,racing is work,& if I didn`t want to do it so badly I`d stop building mine right now.Have really enjoyed conversing w/ you & good luck in whatever you do!
Those new Coyote Mustangs are VERY fun. I bought a 2011 GT brand new and put a Procharger on it when it had 3K miles. Enjoy your new ride!!
