Second annual Arizona Desert Mavericks meet

    We have set the date for the second annual Arizona Desert Mavericks meet. This will be on Saturday, November 17th at 12 noon. We will be getting together for lunch and good times at Barro's Pizza on 83rd Ave and Cactus in Northwest Phoenix. As always you are welcome to bring your favorite Maverick or Comet, or just come and shoot the bull with other Maverick/Comet fans.

    Feel free to leave us a message here so we know how many to expect. Hope to see you there!!!

    I was planning on a 12 gauge with a slug. Should take down the bull. But then it will take a lot longer to cook than to shoot!

    I thought the dyno meet was the second annual meet, and Sardellas was the first annual meet? maybe the dyno was the second annual Spring meet and this is the second annual Fall meet? then the first annual Fall meet was at the track after we got rained out the day before.

    Anybody make it to all 3 meets so far besides me? I think Gene made it to all 3 but no car at the first. Tony totally missed the Dyno. Robbie missed the race. Don gets a pass cause he lives so far away. Adam, well he's a slacker.

    As far as I am concerned (since I was invited to the dyno day, but not given a date or time) this is the second meet. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

    Yeah, I made it to all three but no car at the first one. I've got this one on my calendar. Ryan I believe you have the history correct...but...remember Tony needs his hand held to make sure he makes it to all the meets...:rofl2:
