OK here's another one on Youtube.

I haven't watched it past pulling front bumper out of weeds, so if it's bad your going to have to suffer.

I will say Dylan McCool generally posts fairly good videos.

for those who watched. Did he disconnect the elect pump after the bowl was full? Does it really run that long on that single shot of gas? Why the screw driver in the carb?

I believe he disconnected for one of two reasons(kinda breezed through it), wasn't ready to start/wanted to verify no leaks, or just wanted to run no more than 30 seconds or so. Yes a full carb will run several seconds on amount of fuel in bowl.

Screwdriver was just to hold choke open. Wasn't connected so would stay closed even with warm engine.

Eons ago I had a V6 Malibu that choke pull off on the dual jet carb was defective. I stuck a clothespin on air horn so it could never fully close, worked fine summer or winter. Ran it that way for probably two years before selling it.

He's up to 3 episodes now and got it to move. It's got some major front end problems. I'm enjoying it. He's having some issues keeping it running. And even starting sometimes. When he worked on the points, I noticed the guts inside the distributor seem loose on the advance mechanism. I think he needs a new dizzy.

Yeah I noticed that as well, commented in first video about condition. Dist with nylon pivot bushing were prone to that problem.

I sort of breezed through this last episode, will go back and check out repairing brakes.

It very much reminds me of reviving my old 69 1/2 back in 94. Similar condition, similar problems.
