they will never put a maverick for the main pic on the cover again. mustangs on the cover just sell better hands down. :( for every one maverick owner there are like 500 mustang owners!

Found it on the stands today. Very cool. Quote by Shawn, "Maverick folks are very down to earth and genuine." I agree.

Great article. Great car. Looking forward to seeing it again at the Roundup, where I'll be put to shame again as everyone brings there great looking cars out. :)

Congrats on the article and Thank You for allowing your car to be published in the magazine!

Seeing the article was what actually brought me back to Mavericks / Comets. I had both a '70 Maverick Grabber and later a '71 Comet GT when I was much younger. When I saw the write up on it, I started thinking about finding another Comet GT to replace the one I had in my youth, found this place while doing research on them, and now I have my GT project and possibly another GT for parts if the deal works out along with several new friends!

I've looked everywhere for this issue. Does anyone know somewhere in Ontario that carries this mag? Thanks. John B

Chapters had it, and Wal Mart, but that was almost a month ago. I have an extra I'll save for you. Or an autographed copy.....for a price :D
