Here's a nice little article. http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2014/07/10/how-much-car-do-you-need-to-be-happy/?refer=musweekly
My experience has been similar with regard to the Maverick. They are like glue in a parking lot. The young people love the styling (hey..nice Mustang) and the people my age love to tell stories about the family owned Mavericks from their child or teen years. A while back, I saw a 71 Comet in a grocery store parking lot in Austintown, Oh. It drew a lot of people even though appeared to be someone's daily driver! A really nice article indeed!
Nice article, Thanks for sharing Terry. The maverick creeps a little forward each year and gets a little more recognition each year. I am glad I have one! Thanks Allen Small
Very nice article - and YES, "how much car do we really need" It is all about having fun. Thanks for sharing.
Well I had a Maverick before they were cool!!! LOL Got some recognition when I blew the doors off the loud mouths 454 Camaro in college.
If people keep saying such nice things about our cars, our heads will get to big to fit in them...lol... Great article...
Nice article. I gave my son a choice of pretty much any car he wanted under 10k. We looked at Furies, Novas, Camaros, LeMans, even some 50's era cars. He picked the Maverick / Comet. Turned him into a Ford kid, just as it should be.
