Stuck doors

    2 1974 four door Mavericks, one Black, one pastel lime
    ALL OF THEM. None of the doors on my parts car open now. They haven't for a long time. But now I need to get in that car because I'm doing the final strip on it before it has to go. I can climb in through the trunk but i don't want to get in there without knowing what to do first. The door buttons just slide in real easy or else stick and slowly pop back out. Can I just manually pull the rods from inside? What do I do if that doesn't work?

    Good thing the doors are already rusted out at the bottom.

    Nope....but required. It was the ONLY way I could get in the car. Well....the windows were already busted, but one can only do so many "Dukes of Hazzards" going in and out getting parts. :D

    you know Craig, I always wondered what that hole was about. I saw that on your website. I thought it might have been somebody's crude attempt at rust repair:huh: perfect picture for this thread though!
