The kids are on their way to the hippies car and they duck down and it shows the side of a goldish maverick and you can see the maverick emblem on the pillar.

In the first 20 mins of this movie there looks to be a maverick grabber cut out sor something sitting under a orange car with its hood up in the kid room. It is right after the move shows him painting a green monster.

Just watched it last night. It looks like an orange maverick grabber plastic model. The kid in the movie is an avid model builder.

Definitely not what I was expecting in this movie. But it was good. Kinda reminiscent of ET and The Goonies (Spielberg is one of the producers), but a little more action-packed and violent to keep modern kids' attention.

I have it on dvd. I am an avid sci-fi lover, so of course I enjoyed it! I never get bored with a movie, as you see things that you missed on previous viewings. Same with tv shows. I've seen most every episode of Adam-12 and Emergency, so I now watch them to pick out the Mavericks and Comets in them! Both shows have some really nice classics in them! I may get a dvr in the future just so I can take stills of the cars!!! (y)
