umm....... Different.. I guess. Actually kind of cool! And that interior is the exact same color and all as mine!

it also does have the 302 with trans and all the parts needed for an engine swap. Might be a good parts car

That poor car. The only thing of any value in those pictures is the dog!

Yeah, by the look on the dog's face, he realizes that too.

I don't know where these people get the time to do stuff like that, you'd think at some point, you'd figure it out..or they must be high 24/7..

I'm not sure the true "Rat Rod" crowd would claim it.......the hardware store exhaust and hood scoop aren't exactly crafty ingenuity.....and after all the major chassis/body work to convert it into a 2-door shorty, the superfluous rear door handles are more WTF than clever.

But hey, it'd sure get you attention if that's the motivation behind it

.....maybe some people don't know the difference (or just don't care) between positive and negative attention.

Would love to see how the underside of this is "engineered". At 3500$ that is one expensive "parts car"

    Agreed but I don't understand all the pissin' over a 4dr maverick, ain't like it's a '57 Chevy...

    Which can be pretty cool...

He might have made it a tiny bit better looking by removing the back door handles - I do mean tiny bit better  :vomito:

In a bizarre way. I do kinda like the new proportions. Of course the guy's execution here is tongue-in-cheek.

Now imagine the two seat maverick roadster concept that we threw around about 3 years ago, except shorten the wheelbase like this one. (y)
I found the old thread here .... http://mmb.maverick.to/attachment.php?attachmentid=30277&d=1226364611

That 57 is beautiful! ... the best thing to do to a 4 door Bel Air. Very nicely-done car.

It's gross, and I'm more drunk than the last time I looked at it.
